Journeys API
- Create, publish and run journeys with call, message, wait and branch steps.
- Runs share one matter, so a retry call knows what the WhatsApp message said.
- New events: journey.step.completed and journey.run.exited.
Webhook signing v2
- Signatures now cover the timestamp, with a five-minute replay window.
- Replay any event from the last 30 days from the dashboard or with POST /v1/events/{id}/replay.
- The v1 header is deprecated and will be removed on 15 December.
WhatsApp templates and attachments
- messages.create accepts approved templates with variables.
- Attach original files by id; superseded revisions are held back automatically.
- Delivery and read receipts surface as message.delivered and message.read.
Tasks and promises
- Team tasks and AI promises with owners, deadlines and overdue events.
- POST /v1/tasks/{id}/callback queues a callback from the customer’s original line.
- Tasks created during calls carry the call as their source.
Node SDK streams events
- vf.events.stream() returns an async iterator that reconnects and resumes.
- Fixed a typing error on calls.create when context was omitted.
- Webhook verification helper ships in the same package.
Python SDK and idempotency keys
- pip install voiflow, with sync and async clients.
- Idempotency-Key is honoured on every POST for 24 hours.
- Errors now carry a request_id you can quote to support.
